“ Along a quiet side street, Bar andaluz is a stones throw from the busy beachside of S'arenal, but couldn't feel further away from the inauthentic tourist traps that occupy the main strip. The menu is large and has something for everyone (suitable for vegetarians). Each dish that we had was full of flavour - it's no suprise that it was this good, they have been open for around 45 years. Expect a bustling and busy environment with attentive staff wading through the small restaurant, as every seat is taken and the sound of happy diners fills the room. This place has a undeniable charm that has left us eager to come back for more. For us, the highlight of S'arenal. ”
“ What an atmosphere, authentic tapas bar, full of local people. The staff were patient and explained items on the menu and portions etc The food was excellent Seriously advise booking ahead due to is obvious popularity. It's not a big place in fact it can be described as snug, but that really lends to the animated and talkative patrons interacting with everyone which to me is the whole point of a tapas bar We loved it and the bill was more than value for money Watch out for the free tipple at the end its 20% proof ”
“ Nothing to be complain about this authentic restaurant. Foods was so delicious. I had the best octopus in my life here. Services are excellent, all servers are very nice and professional. We came back 2-3 times during our stay. Of course we definitely be back again for our next visit. ”
“ We came here since it was the highest rated tapas bar in the area and it did not disappoint. Food was INCREDIBLE, and service was just as good. You can tell these servers have been part of the business for a long time - they have so much heart. Could not recommend more! ”
“ We discovered this place on the last day of our stay in Mallorca, and the experience was truly exceptional. We enjoyed a variety of seafood, including octopus, garlic-infused shrimp in hot oil, grilled vegetables, and Pacific razor clams. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced! A special thanks to our waiter, who spoke excellent English and was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The sangria was also one of the best we had during our trip! ”
“ Absolutely fantastic 10/10 such a little hidden gem! They were packed even at 5pm but we got lucky and got bar seating. For how busy it was the service was very fast, the waiters so kind, the food AMAZING! Highly recommend hoping we get to eat here again before we leave ”
“ Everything was very delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. The waiters who took care of us were very kind, especially the gentleman with glasses who wrote down our names on the waiting list and guided us to the table. He was very friendly and fun. It is worth every penny you pay. Definitely try here! ”
“ Overall, this place deserves a solid 4.5 stars ⭐. I highly recommend giving it a try when you're in Palma, and I’d strongly suggest making a reservation in advance to avoid a long wait. Food: 2/2 stars ⭐ – The food was fantastic! Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. Service: 1/1 star ⭐ – Even though we don’t speak Spanish, we could still feel the staff's friendliness and warm enthusiasm. Price: 1/1 star ⭐ – Very reasonable compared to other restaurants on the island. Location: 0.5/1 star ⭐ – We drove there with a rental car (public transport isn’t really a practical option), but it wasn’t easy to find parking nearby. ”
